The upcoming CERT only training opportunities are listed here and on the calendar page. Most often, events are posted in the Fairfax Volunteer Management System.

No-shows may result in restrictions on participation in future training or operations.

If you cannot make the training class, PLEASE remove yourself in VMS.

FEMA Continuity of Operations Planning for Pandemic Influenzas (IS-520) This course introduces students to the characteristics of a pandemic influenza, the effects that a pandemic influenza can have on every facet of our society, and the steps their organizations can take to minimize the effects of a pandemic.

  13. FEMA Introduction to Community Response Teams (IS-317) This course is an introduction to the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program for those interested in learning about the CERT program for their own knowledge.
